GENERAL STOCK DELIVERY TIMES

We offer free UK delivery on orders over £100 and option to collect in store for free. Orders under £100 will be charged a standard delivery fee of £6.95. Delivery will be made by Royal Mail Special Delivery and should be delivered to you within 5 working days of order confirmation. Please note all items will need to be signed for at the point of delivery. If your order is returned because the postal service or courier are unable to deliver, you will be responsible for all return and repeat delivery charges. If someone without authority signs for the purchase at the address you have given us, it will not be the responsibility of McGowans Jewellers.

We currently only deliver to customers within the UK and Northern Ireland. To enquire about deliveries to addresses outside of the UK and Northern Ireland, please contact us on 0141 248 5666 or email us at info@mcgowansjewellers.com.
Regarding the COVID-19 crisis, this may impact deliveries from time to time. If we are notified of any delays, we will advise you directly by email or phone call.

RING STOCK DELIVERY TIMES

The majority of our online ring stock is available in the standard sizes of LMNO and we are happy to cater for other sizes upon request. Sizes of LMNO should be dispatched within 2 weeks of order. For other ring sizes, the lead time may be longer (up to 6 – 8 weeks) as we require to make a custom order with our suppliers. In the event that we require to make a custom order, we will contact you directly by phone or email upon receipt of your order to advise of delivery times and will keep them updated on the status of your order by email. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returns

We hope that you are delighted with your purchases, however, because you are a consumer and have purchased your Product online, you have a legal right to cancel your Contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 from the date of the Dispatch Confirmation (the date on which we e-mail you to confirm our acceptance of your order) until the date which is 14 days after you receive the product(s). This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to receive or keep a product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the Contract and receive a refund.

To cancel a Contract, you just need to let us know that you have decided to cancel. The easiest way to do this is to complete the cancellation form on our website. If you use this method, we will e-mail you to confirm we have received your cancellation. A copy of the cancellation form can also be emailed to you on request, by emailing: info@mcgowansjewellers.com.

If you wish to make a return, for reasons other than product defect or incorrect goods, you will be required to arrange and pay for the cost of return postage. Returns must be sent tracked and signed to McGowans Jewellers, 4 Argyll Arcade, Glasgow G2 8BA. Please retain the proof of postage in the event that the returned parcel does not arrive.

Refunds will be made against the original debit/credit card used when ordering for the price paid by you (exclusive of the initial delivery charge), within a maximum period of 30 days after receipt of your returned items; providing we have received your goods, in their original condition, within 14 working days after delivery.

If you cancel your order but do not send off such goods to us within 14 working days of notifying us of cancellation, we shall be entitled to withhold payment of any refund.

Please note that any returned product requires to be in an unused condition and in its original packaging. Any product that has been used will not be accepted and may be returned to you at your cost.

Please note that earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. We cannot accept returns for products which have been specially ordered, re-sized or engraved.

If you have secured finance with our third-party provider for purchases which are subsequently returned, you must contact them in adequate time to arrange cancellation of your finance agreement.

Exchanges

If you indicate on your cancellation form that you would rather receive an exchange than a refund then this will be processed within 7 working days of receiving your returned goods and will be delivered via Royal Mail Special Delivery. In these circumstances a new Contract will be deemed to have been formed between us in relation to the new product you have selected (and your various rights of cancellation and return as set out herein will apply to that Product). In the event that we are not able to satisfy your request for an exchange then we will refund you the cost of the product(s) and the original Contract between us will be cancelled.
